Driving Licence

As of 1 April 2009, compulsory hazard training for a driving licence will be expanded into a two-part training programme.

  • Part 1 is the new addition to hazard training and comprises alcohol, other drugs, fatigue, and risky behaviour in general
  • Part 2, is the original training programme (skid pan) and covers speed, road safety, and driving under special conditions.

Both parts 1 and 2 of hazard training must be completed and validated before taking the theoretical and practical driving licence tests. Stora Holms Trafikövningsplats is approved to hold both part 1 and 2 by the Swedish Road Administration.
